Help us by being a Friend of the NETOA

Since the very beginning, in 1968, the North East Theatre Organ Association has existed entirely as a result of the support of and for the enjoyment of its ‘Friends’ (originally known as ‘Members’). Whether that entails just listening to good music played on the organ, getting your hands (and possibly just about everything else!) dirty working on the organ, trying your best to sound like Reginald Dixon or Sidney Torch at the console, or doing your bit to raise the necessary funds required to keep the ‘Mighty’ in the Wurlitzer at the New Victoria Centre, Howden le Wear – it all counts a great deal!

In 2016 the ongoing work of the NETOA Friends was recognised with the presentation of the Queens Award for Voluntary Service – the highest honour a voluntary group can receive in the UK.
