You are invited to a special afternoon event organised by JUNE WRIGHT and the Friends of the North East Theatre Organ Association to ‘Raise the Roof’!

The New Victoria Centre roof was badly damaged by Storm Arwen in 2022 and whilst insurance would have covered a simple repair, the general condition of the roof was not good after over 100 years so we decided that the best course of action was to completely replace all of the Victorian slates, battens, etc., to secure the building properly for the future + at the same time allowing the fitting of insulation to improve energy efficiency.  The repair bill came to over £35,000 and we are grateful for many donations already received + any more are always welcome.

The ‘All Stars’ from the Friends of the NETOA who enjoy playing the organ (& piano) will be here to entertain those who wish to come along and listen, have a chat and / or a cup of tea, coffee, etc.

PLUS . . . . . JUNE’s delicious cakes will be available to enjoy with your tea and coffee for a small donation, too!

Just enjoy a relaxing and informal evening in a friendly atmosphere!
